UGC Video Editing for DTC Brands

Raw creator footage rarely fails because of the creator. It fails because the first two seconds were cut like an organic post instead of an ad. I edit UGC for brands buying paid traffic, where the only thing that matters is whether the viewer stops scrolling and keeps watching long enough to hear the offer.

What you get

Included in every project

Hook-first structure

The strongest moment in your footage moves to frame one. Every edit opens on a visual or a claim built to stop the scroll before the viewer's thumb moves.

Native platform pacing

Cut to feel like content, not like a commercial. Captions burned in, punch-ins on emphasis, and sound design that survives being watched on mute.

Batch hook variants

The same body with three to five different openers, so your media buyer can test hooks without paying for a new shoot.

Every aspect ratio

9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 exported from the same master, framed properly for each placement instead of cropped and hoped for.

Process

How the work runs

  1. Brief & offer

I need the product, the audience, the angle, and what your current winner looks like — so the new creative competes with it instead of repeating it.

  2. Footage review

I watch everything and pull the moments with genuine conviction in them. Authentic beats polished in UGC, every time.

  3. Hook build

Openers are cut first and judged on their own, before the body is assembled. A weak hook makes the rest of the edit irrelevant.

  4. Delivery & iteration

Platform-ready exports with organized files. Send me the performance data and the next batch is cut against what actually worked.

Who it's for

FAQs

Common questions

How fast can you turn around a UGC ad?
Most UGC edits are delivered in 1–2 business days. Batches of five or more usually land within 3–4 days. If you have a launch date, tell me up front and I'll confirm whether it fits before we start.
Can you edit footage from creators I already work with?
Yes — that's the majority of what I do. Send raw files through Drive, Dropbox or Frame.io. I don't need the creator involved in the edit process at all.
Do you provide the hooks, or do I write them?
Either way. If you have scripted hooks, I cut to them. If not, I build hook variants out of what the creator already said on camera, which usually tests better because it doesn't sound written.

Have footage waiting to perform?

Send a short brief — what you need edited, the platform it's for, and your deadline. I usually reply within 24 hours.
